Do you think all tracks should go to a "hard" tire on the rear eliminating the advantage that the big motor guys have?
Do you think tracks should have tire rules IE: Hoosier only etc?
My feelings are.. Hard tires can make the smaller motors more competitive offering our fans a better show and hopefully bring up car counts. I think it's a good thing.. It seems to be working well for CJ Rayburn and the NASRA series.
I hate when a track mandates a "Brand" of tire. I can't support this rule..
What say you?

Well Darren, here in North AL./southern TN., we have a "punch 60" tire rule on the rear tires only. Your rear tires must durometer 60 or more BEFORE the race. You can use any brand you want. The front tires are wide open, no rule. It has brought the 355 & 362 engines back into the race, and slowed down the 406 plus engines. Plus the track owners have purposely been prepping the tracks to get slick by feature time. Doc www.Dowdyracing.com

Trust me I support the Rear tire "hard" rule 100% cause it saves me and my sponsors money. I just really hate when a track says.. Hey you.. If you wanna race here you better buy our Hoosiers" Hoosier is really making me ill.
